If you have a strong hand you will only draw one or no cards and you will be betting high. The less cards you need to discard the higher you should bid. If your opponents draw few cards you know they believe they have a strong hand as well. You can play laid back or aggressive depending on the number of cards you draw when playing 2-7.

If you draw one card or stand pat then you have a strong hand and should bet accordingly. The number of cards you and your opponent draws is an indicator of how good a hand is held.
